You don't have to go to England or France to witness a Downtown Abbey style hunt with a pack of foot bassets. Founded in Chester Springs, PA in 1948 , the Skycastle French Hounds is the oldest continously active Basset pack in the United States. You begin the day with a presentation that will highlight the history of the club and hounds on foot in the region, then get to see and follow the pack on the property, rain or shine. Families welcome. A full late afternoon tea is included at the conclusion. Hiking shoes or boots, jeans and tough jackets recommended.
