Christmas in Bethlehem with Light Tour/Lunch

8:30am Depart West Goshen Park and Ride 9:45am Meet your guide at the Moravian Museum, located in the Gemeinhaus, a National Historic Landmark nch 10:50am Experience the Central Moravian Church Christmas as you view the Community Christmas Putz. A cherished tradition, the Putz retells the wonderful story of Christ’s birth with carved figures, narration and music, while tiny lights illuminate each miniature scene. These miniature replicas depict various settings of the Nativity story through the use of ornate, hand-crafted figurines which recreate the holiest of scenes. 11:15am Stroll on Main Street and browse the Christmas City Village shops perhaps stop in the Moravian Book Store (closes at 4 on Wednesdays according to web site so suggest you visit this in morning). 11:45am Walk over to the Historic Hotel Bethlehem, 437 Main St. and enjoy a delicious sitdown Holiday Lunch View the spectacular Holiday displays including a multitude of uniquely decorated Christmas trees, 36 wreaths, six 7ft Toy Soldiers, two life size Nutcrackers and a gingerbread house modeled after the hotel. Rediscover your childhood wonderment, and unwrap a memorable holiday experience. 1:30pm Depart Hotel Bethlehem and head to Allentown for Christmas show. 2:00pm Enjoy the HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS show at the Pines Dinner Theatre, Celebrate Christmas as you enjoy your favorite holiday classics and songs, and even Santa Claus. This high energy revue will have even the most determined Scrooge believing in the magic of the season. Please use rest rooms after show if necessary. Show is scheduled to be over about 3:30pm. 3:45pm Approximate departure from theatre 4:15pm Approximate arrival in Bethlehem. Browse Main Street shops and eateries. There is an ice cream parlor at the Hotel Bethlehem, 437 Main St., Johnny’s Bagel & Deli, Grandpa Joe’s candy Shop, French bistro, Main St. Shopping Mall, 559 Main St., etc. WALK from Main Street to the KEMERER MUSEUM, 427 New St. Bethlehem – for 5pm tour 5:00pm Bethlehem Night Lights Tour – Departs from Kemerer Museum Sit back and experience Christmas City on a trip back in time with a certified guide in period dress. This tour includes a look at local holiday traditions and access to historic highlights of Bethlehem.
