Course Proposal For New Instructors

Chester County Night School is currently seeking new courses for our Fall 2010 session.

Our Fall Term begins the week of September 20, 2010.

Click here for a calendar which shows the schools where classes are held. We teach in schools in the West Chester, Great Valley and Unionville School Districts.

If our program interests you, please complete a course proposal form for each class you would like to offer, and click the submit button. All new course proposals are reviewed by our Board. If we’re interested in your class(es), we will check your references and call you for an interview.

Please submit the course proposal form by June 25, 2010.

VERY IMPORTANT: We base the class fee on your estimation of supply costs. Please itemize your anticipated course costs ON A PER STUDENT BASIS for copying, supplies or materials so we can build these expenses into the price of the course. If the cost will exceed your estimate, you must call our office prior to making the expense. All expenses must be accompanied by a receipt and approved by our office.

Course Description:
Please write a course description or provide a brief outline of the course content.  If your course is accepted by our course curriculum committee, we will use this description in our catalog.  Be sure to include whether or not a student needs previous experience, if supplies must be purchased in advance by student and other details pertinent to the course.  Important:  If a textbook is required, indicate the name and publisher, where it may be purchased and approximate cost to student.  Also include if students should wear or bring anything special to class (such as exercise mat, water bottle, notebook, etc.)
