Learn to positively train your pup and avoid problem behaviors that will have to later be corrected. Typical puppy behaviors will be addressed, such as: mouthing, housetraining & how to introduce a puppy to a crate, jumping, chewing, and handling issues. Obedience exercises included will be: attention, come, sit, down, walking on a loose leash, handling for grooming. Some socialization exercises with people and other dogs will be included. NOTE: The dog’s age should be between 10 weeks and five months old.

Beginning Dog Obedience

Basic commands will be taught, such as: attention, come, sit/stay, down/stay, and loose leash walking. Common problem behaviors such as the following will be addressed: jumping, food stealing, and chewing on inappropriate items. Waiting by a door will also be worked on as will the "leave it" command. How to release and leave inappropriate items will be addressed. NOTE: The dog should be six months and older.
