Orchid Repotting Workshop
In this class you will repot and take home with you three orchids, one of which will be in bloom. You will learn the basics of repotting orchids as well as challenges you may come across with your orchids. I will reveal a few of my secrets to having healthy and happy orchids. You will be amazed how easy it really is to repot your orchids after taking this class. Bring a box to transport your orchids home in and be ready to dig in. Garden gloves are optional. A $45 supply fee, which includes orchids, potting medium, plastic pot, and a root stimulator, is due at the start of the class. Decorative orchid pots and additional supplies will be available for purchase.

Golf for Women: Beginning

This course is tailored specifically for women and will teach the fundamentals of the golf swing, including proper grip, stance, posture and alignment along with swing dynamics. Concepts such as pace of play, golf etiquette and course management will also be discussed. The initial two classes will be held at Everhart Park, at the intersection of Barnard and Brandywine Streets in West Chester. The remaining six classes will be held at The Golf Zone, 1839 Horseshoe Pike, Honeybrook, which is 6.7 miles west of Rte. 30 bypass on Rte. 322. Please bring a six or seven-iron and a folding lawn chair to the initial classes.

This class will continue to help you master golf fundamentals while showing you the techniques to consistently make solid contact with the ball. Topics will include the finesse of consistent shot making, refinement of techniques, course management, scoring, and rules of etiquette. The first three classes will be held at the Driving Range for 1 hour and 15 min each class. The fourth class will be held on the golf course* for approximately 2 hours. The Eric MacCluen Golf Academy has junior golf programs that are designed for the beginner golfer who would like to learn the game of golf or the intermediate golfer who wants to improve their game to play on the course. These classes are structured so the student can progress through the program as they age and improve.
