General Information

5 Ways to Register!

#1: Register Online

Online registration is fast, easy and secure. It is the preferred method of registration. To register, click on the large blue REGISTER NOW button located directly above the course category buttons on the left side of the home page. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. You will receive a confirmation email within 1-3 business days of your registration. Please ensure we have your current email address and notify us if you have not received your confirmation email.

#2: Register by Mail

A printed Spring 2010 Registration Form is found on the back cover of our catalog. Or, for an Online Registration Form which you can then print out, click here now. Be sure to enclose a check or money order payable to Chester County Night School, or supply your credit card number, expiration date and signature. Please use a separate form and separate check for each course and each person attending. If you're enrolling with a friend, please enclose all registration forms and checks in the same envelope.

Fax your registration using Mastercard, VISA, Amex or Discover to 610-692-7566 anytime day or evening.

#4: Register by Phone

Have your course selections and credit card ready, and call 610-692-1964 during business hours and our registration personnel will be happy to assist you. Beginning February 8, our business hours are: Monday - Thursday: 9:00am to 3:00pm and Friday: 9:00am to 1:00pm. If our phone lines are busy, please do not hesitate to leave a short message on voicemail and we will return your call shortly.

#5: Walk-in Registration: by Appointment Only

Please call the office at 610-692-1964 if you would like to come in person to register.

Registration Fee

We charge a $5 per person/per term registration fee to offset administrative expenses. This fee covers as many classes as you would like to take per term. This fee is non-refundable.

Course Sell-outs and Cancellations

If your course is filled, your name will be put on a waiting list. If there is insufficient enrollment, Chester County Night School reserves the right to cancel the course. In either event, you will be notified and your money will be returned.

Confirmations

Course confirmations including class dates, times and locations, will be mailed, emailed or faxed to you within two weeks of registration. If you have not received a course confirmation prior to the course start date, please call the office to confirm your registration.

Withdrawals

If you cannot attend a course, you can qualify for a credit voucher for your full tuition by notifying the Office in writing at least three (3) days prior to the first class. Send your request to Chester County Night School , 222 N. Walnut St., Ste. A, West Chester, PA 19380 or fax your request to 610-692-7566. No telephone withdrawals will be accepted. The date the notice is received will be considered the date of withdrawal. Note: There will be a $5 processing fee per credit voucher.If you are not satisfied with your course after the first class has met, you can qualify for a credit voucher for 50 percent of your tuition by notifying the Office in writing prior to the second class. (Follow above withdrawal instructions.) Credit vouchers are valid for a year from issue date.

Cancellation policy for Springhouse Computer classes: In the event that a student needs to cancel or reschedule a class at Springhouse Computers, Chester County Night School must be notified 5 full business days prior to the start of class or the full amount of the invoice will be charged. Students may then reschedule on a space available basis.

Refunds

Refunds will be given only if Chester County Night School cancels a course. Refunds cannot be issued for classes missed as a result of illness, personal emergencies or any other event beyond our control.

Children Accompanying Adults

Children may not accompany their parents to classes unless the course description specifies parent/child participation.

Weather Cancellation

In the event of severe inclement weather, we follow school districts’ closing for weather cancellations. You may also call the Chester County Night School phone message at 610-692-1964 for information regarding cancellations or check our website home page at www.chestercountynightschool.org. Class cancellations will also be run on the NBC Channel 10 school closing alert. Note: If your class is held in a non-school location, call your instructor to determine if your class has been cancelled.

Make-ups

Classes postponed by instructor, school district, or extreme weather conditions will be made up. Parking is available in well-lighted lots adjacent to each school building.

No Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted in the schools or on school property.

Accessibility

Most Chester County Night School classes are handicapped accessible. If you have questions, notify the Office upon registration.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates in any denomination are available. Please contact the Office at 610-692-1964.

Liability

Students take courses at their own risk and agree to waive and release Chester County Night School staff and instructors from any and all claims. Chester County Night School cannot be responsible for personal property in school buildings. The opinions and recommendations expressed by instructors are personal. Chester County Night School is not responsible for their views.
