Welcome to 'Artificial Intelligence: AI in Your Everyday Life', a friendly and accessible journey into the world of AI designed for everyone, especially those without a technical background. In this course, over two relaxed 1-hour sessions, we'll demystify everyday terms like Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AIs, and chatbots, bringing them into the context of your daily life. Imagine having a conversation with a chatbot that helps you plan your day, or marveling at a piece of artwork created by an AI – these are the kinds of everyday wonders we'll explore! While our primary focus will be on these user-friendly technologies, we might also delve into the magic behind AI-generated music, images, and videos if time permits. We'll also touch on the ethical and societal implications of AI, understanding its impact on our lives and communities. This course is your warm invitation to understand and engage with the AI that surrounds us, in a simple, enjoyable, and responsible way. Join us with just your curiosity – let's discover together how AI is more than just technology; it's a part of our everyday lives! NOTE: Zoom link will be sent before the class begins.
