General Information

5 Ways to Register!

#1: Register Online

Online registration is fast, easy and secure. It is the preferred method of registration. Please note: you must have an online account with CCNS in order to register online. Please see instructions on our home page regarding account setup. To register, look up a course(s), add it to your enrollment cart and make the payment. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. A confirmation email will be sent as soon as your payment is processed.

#2: Register by Mail

Click here for a Registration Form to print out and mail. Be sure to enclose a check or money order payable to Chester County Night School, or supply your credit card number, expiration date and signature. Please use a separate form and separate check for each course and each person attending. If you're enrolling with a friend, please enclose all registration forms and checks in the same envelope.

#3: Register by Fax

Fax your registration using Mastercard, VISA, Amex or Discover to 610-692-7566 any time day or evening.

#4: Register by Phone

Have your course selections and credit card ready, and call 610-692-1964 during business hours and our registration personnel will be happy to assist you. Our business hours are: Monday - Friday: 9:30 am to 2:00 pm. If our phone lines are busy, please do not hesitate to leave a short message on voicemail and we will return your call shortly.

#5: Walk-in Registration: by Appointment Only

Please call the office at 610-692-1964 if you would like to come in person to register. Metered parking is available on Chestnut Street, and there is a parking garage on the corner of Walnut and Chestnut Streets.

Registration Fee

We charge a $5 per person/per term registration fee to offset administrative expenses. This fee covers as many classes as you would like to take per term. This fee is non-refundable.

Course Sell-outs and Cancellations

Sell-Outs: If your course is filled, you may choose to be put on a waiting list to be notified if a spot opens up. You are under no obligation. Course Cancellations: If there is insufficient enrollment, Chester County Night School reserves the right to cancel the course. You will be notified and your money will be returned promptly.

Withdrawals

If you cannot attend a course, you may qualify for a credit voucher for your full tuition (less $10 processing fee) by notifying the Office in writing at least three (3) days prior to the first class. You may email your request to: info@chestercountynightschool.org or mail it to Chester County Night School, 222 N. Walnut St., Ste. A, West Chester, PA 19380 or fax it to 610-692-7566. No telephone withdrawals will be accepted. The date the notice is received will be considered the date of withdrawal. Note: There will be a $10 processing fee per credit voucher. If you are not satisfied with your course after the first class has met, you may qualify for a credit voucher for 50 percent of your tuition by notifying the Office in writing prior to the second class. (Follow above withdrawal instructions.) Credit vouchers are valid for a year from issue date.

Withdrawal policy for Springhouse Computer classes: In the event that a student needs to withdraw from a scheduled class through Springhouse Computer, Chester County Night School and Springhouse Computer must be notified 10 business days prior to the start of class in order to qualify for a refund. Otherwise, payment will be held as a credit for the student to reschedule at a later date.

Refunds

Refunds will be given only if Chester County Night School cancels a course. Refunds cannot be issued for classes missed as a result of illness, personal emergencies or any other event beyond our control.

Children Accompanying Adults

Our classes are designed for participants who are ages 16 and older. Children may not accompany their parents to classes unless the course description specifies parent/child participation.

Weather Cancellation

In the event of severe inclement weather, we follow school district closings for weather cancellations. You may also call the Chester County Night School phone message at 610-692-1964 for information regarding cancellations or check our website home page at www.chestercountynightschool.org. Note: If your class is held in a non-school location, call your instructor to determine if your class has been cancelled.

Make-ups

Classes postponed by instructor, school district, or extreme weather conditions will be made up.

No Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted in the schools or on school property.

Accessibility

Most Chester County Night School classes are handicapped accessible. If you have questions, notify the Office upon registration.

School Site Coordinators

Staff Site Coordinators are on duty in the lobby of our primary school locations (Henderson HS, Stetson MS, Great Valley MS, Patton MS, Owen J. Roberts HS and MS). They will direct you to your room location and assist you with any other needs or requests. Well-lit parking lots are available at each of these locations.

Gift Certificates

Liability

Students take courses at their own risk and agree to waive and release Chester County Night School staff and instructors from any and all claims. Chester County Night School cannot be responsible for personal property in school buildings. The opinions and recommendations expressed by instructors are personal. Chester County Night School is not responsible for their views.
