Strings for Adults - Absolute Beginners

Especially designed for adults who always wanted to play (violin, viola, cello), just started, wish to return after many years, or need a little boost in a small group setting under encouraging mentorship in a non-competitive setting. For those with less than 1 year playing, this course will include introduction and reinforcement of tuning, technique, rhythm and note reading basics, ear-training, and music-making together. Music will include some fiddle and worldwide traditional folk tunes. Must bring your own instrument and music stand. If you’re feeling nervous, unsure, shy, and imperfect, but secretly excited and ambitious, you should be here!
