Jessica Lowenadler Sontag |
ADVENTUROUS EATER • PASSIONATE COOK • LIFELONG ARTIST
Growing up in a Swedish home, my food was different from my classmates’ weekly meatloaf and shake-n-bake dinners. In addition to the Swedish dishes that were staples, my mom was constantly trying new recipes that my dad, brother, sister and I all enthusiastically tasted and rated.
Jessica Lowenadler Sontag
As for art, it’s just always been a part of me. As a child, I was quiet and
loved to read and draw. I didn’t care about climbing trees with my brother &
sister. Instead, I’d be up in my room with a notebook, happy to be alone.
This passion for variety and trying new things has been passed on to me and now to my three children and husband. As a mother, my approach to food is as much about nutrition as it is about the flavor. I get really inspired by food from different cultures and learning about the countless ingredients and techniques. |
